RICHLAND CENTER, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – The search for a new provider to work in the Muscoda and Richland Center communities was successful according to the Richland Hospital and Clinics.
Victoria Wilcox, Physician Assistant, Family Medicine has been hired. Her experience includes primary care for soldiers, and those needing help with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurosurgery, and orthopedic care at various locations, including Fort McCoy, the VA Medical Center in Tomah, and VA Medical Center in Dublin, Georgia.
Wilcox has experience on the civilian side as well. She has diagnosed and managed the care of patients with comprehensive conditions, including heart failure and heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and congenital heart disease in patients of all ages.
Victoria Wilcox’s more recent work in helping patients with substance dependencies, namely opioids, alcohol, Hepatitis C, and depression, fulfils an ever-present need in the communities served by The Richland Hospital and Clinics.
Muscoda Health Center will be Victoria Wilcox’s primary location starting in early July. Lyle Krtochwill, Director of Rural Health Clinics, said she will be worked into rotation to help with Urgent Care coverage at Richland Center. Contact The Richland Hospital and Clinics to schedule an appointment and welcome her to the community.
