By Stuart J. WattlesWAUKESHA, Wis. (WAUK) — Construction has commenced on a major renovation project in Cutler Park, focusing on replacing pathways and sidewalks. The improvements should be done by mid-October.
The project aims to address the deteriorating condition of existing pathways and widen them to accommodate the park’s large events. New sidewalks will be installed throughout the park. Crew will also be doing some sod restoration.
City officials say the upgrades will enhance pedestrian access and allow for easier entry of food trucks and other equipment during events. The wider pathways are expected to improve accessibility to the library and playground within the park.
The estimated completion date for the project is October 11th.
